8. Checking My Active Tasks for Translators and Interpreters

Once you are enrolled in the Language Bank as a student or volunteer and your status as volunteer has been approved, you can be assigned translation and interpreting requests that you will have to accept or reject.

When a translation or interpreting task has been assigned to you, you will receive an email with the details of the assignment. This email will contain information such as the language pair, the deadline, and a description of the job. The assignment has to be accepted or rejected within 24 hours of receiving the notification, otherwise it will be automatically rejected and assigned to another volunteer:

To check the status of your requests, you can go to the Dashboard and go to My Active Tasks.

You will see a list of the tasks that have been assigned to you. To read the details of the task, click on the book icon.
