7. Checking the status of your request
To check the status of your requests, you can go to the Dashboard and go to My Requests:
These are the different statuses of your request:
- Submitted. The request has been submitted. The Language Bank Manager will review it and assign it to a volunteer that matches the request criteria. At this stage, the request can be deleted if you don't need the translation or interpreting service anymore.
- Assigned request: Request has been assigned to a translator or interpreting and is pending acceptance.
- Assigned reject: Request has been rejected by the translator or interpreter due to availability. Request will be reassigned.
- Approval request: The translator or interpreter has accepted the request and is working on it.
- Revision assigned: The translation has been submitted to a reviewer and is waiting for final approval.
- Revision reject (Unavailable): The reviewer rejects the request because he or she is unavailable.
- Revision accept (Available): The reviewer accepts the request.
- Revision reject (Quality): The reviewer reviews the translation and rejects it due to quality reasons. The Language Bank Manager will revert the status of the request to Assign Accept and will communicate with the translator so that she or he makes the necessary changes.
- Final approval: The translation has been reviewed and the Language Bank Manager will finalize it.
- Final: The translation is ready to be downloaded, or the interpreting request has been finalized. The translation or interpreting service needs to be evaluated.
