Quiz 3 (due 10/16 at 5pm)

These are the rules for quizzes.

• This quiz is as an assessment of your individual work. You may not consult others and you should not give assistance to others.
• This quiz is open-book and open-notes (both posted notes and your own). It is not "open to searching everywhere on the internet" or "solving it using software" such as integrals.com, MATLAB, Chegg, or any other software/website.
• You should not need a calculator to solve any of the problems.

Some logistical issues:

• The quiz is worth a total of 6% of the final grade.
• Once you start the quiz you have 30 minutes to finish and hit submit.
• Questions are not all of the same difficulty: if you find yourself getting stuck, move on to another question.
• If your internet connection drops, Canvas should save your progress and you can continue the quiz. The timer will keep running.

If you experience technical difficulties in taking the quiz, email the professors (anand.sarwate@rutgers.edu, sye8@scarletmail.rutgers.edu) immediately with the following:

• a description of what happened
• the time when you took the quiz

This will give a time stamp to your work.
