Lab 1 is a group assignment: you have been placed into groups of 3 or 4, as detailed under People. There are two files associated with this lab: the lab itself, and a template for the lab report.

You should do the lab and answer the questions in the template solutions. Be sure to use sentences to explain your work and also to properly label your plots! Some of the points in the lab are for the quality and clarity of your explanations.

Start the lab early! It is is not that short, and some parts you should be able to do even after only a week of class.
