How do I find information about my required certification in the LMP?

After your profile is created and you log in to the LMP, you should automatically be assigned a Curricula in the LMP. Curricula = Certification Track. The information used to create your profile (i.e. the job you selected from the dropdown menu or that was selected for you by your agency) is linked with a Curricula/Certification Track that will show you everything you need to complete your certification. Your Curricula/Certification Track lists all the required courses and their equivalencies. You'll also be assigned Certification Competencies and your Certification Exam automatically by the LMP based on your job.

How is my certification managed in the new LMP?

You'll complete all of the required courses listed in your Curricula, and then you'll be able to complete a self-reflection of your competencies. Your supervisor or agency designated superuser will then attest to your competencies. After that's complete, you'll be ready for your certification exam. It's all right there in the LMP. After you complete your certification, your supervisor or agency designated superuser will assign you the Curricula for the following year's certification.

What if my certification status in the LMP is incorrect?

If you log in to the LMP and find that your certification status is incorrect, talk to your supervisor. For example, if upon logging in you find that you are assigned Year 1 certification but you've already completed that, your supervisor can go into your profile and update your status to reflect Year 2 or 3 (or beyond!). Supervisors & Superusers have until November 1, 2024 to update certification statuses of their employees in the LMP. You can still register for other courses while you wait for your supervisor to work through all of the updates required.

What happened to all my certification information in the old system, pfccertification.org?

Don't worry! It is all still there. Superusers can access the old information on a read-only basis to confirm certification status. When in doubt, contact us at CSOCTraining@ubhc.rutgers.edu and we'll access your records in the old system. TCOM/CANS Tool Certification will still take place on TCOMTraining.com. You can upload your CANS Certificate to your LMP portal if recommended by your supervisor.
