Welcome to the Train-the-Trainer Workshop!
Subject matter experts who become instructors at CGS must develop skills to ensure that they can impart their expertise effectively to those who attend their courses. The goal of this Train-the-Trainer Workshop is to give both new and experienced instructors a foundation from which to develop as an instructor in addition to classroom training you may be required to participate in. This workshop is designed to provide a working knowledge of adult learning, and provide you with skills such as teaching methodologies and classroom management.
This self-paced workshop has five modules each which must be sequentially completed before you can go on to the next. Activities include interactive videos, quizzes, readings, a mini-video presentation of your creation as well as a final presentation. Each module has instructions for going through the material and a short quiz for the first three modules. You will have the opportunity to re-take quizzes until you have reached a score of 85% or better. And you always have the opportunity go back to review material or watch a video. Begin with the Start Here module as an orientation to this workshop before continuing on to Module 1. Remember, navigating through this workshop is easy- all you need to do is follow the prompts!
