Completion of this Train-the-Trainer workshop will require that you deliver a presentation to a Pam Chappelle, Senior Program Coordinator, in real-time. To help you get started and as an opportunity for feedback prior to your final presentation, this assignment requires that you prepare and submit a short video recording (under 2 minutes) of the introduction you plan to deliver during the final live presentation. The rubric that will be applied to score this assignment is available below, to help guide your planning. You will receive your score along with any facilitator feedback a few days after you submit the assignment with instructions on how to schedule your final presentation. Follow the steps below to submit your video.

Step 2 - Prepare Your Introduction
- Outline your 2-minute (or less) introduction. Consider applying the Four Step Process Links to an external site. presented in this module.
- Practice what you plan to say so that you sound relaxed during your recording.
Record Your Introduction
The most important thing to remember when making a recording is to choose a method that is most comfortable for you so that the technology does not become a barrier. This may be using a web cam on your computer, a dedicated camera or from your cell phone or tablet.
If you wish to make your recording and immediately submit using a web cam or selfie cam you can skip to the Submit Your Video Assignment section below.
- Choose a device you are most comfortable with to record your introduction with.
- Review your recording to make sure you are satisfied with the quality of the recording and your Introduction.
- Save the recording to a location that is accessible by your devices file management system for submitting. If you are unable to do this you may also upload the recording to your Office 365 or Google cloud drives.
Submit Your Video Assignment
- Click the blue 'Start Assignment' button in the upper right portion of this page.
- Click the 'Media' tab in the submission area. (If you uploaded your recording to a cloud drive select the Google Drive of Office 365 tab as appropriate)
- Click the 'Record/Upload Media' button which will open a pop-up window.
- a) If you have already recorded your video click the 'Upload Media' tab then the 'Select Media' button to select your recording to upload.
b) If you are making your recording now click the 'Start Recording' button when ready. Click the 'Finish' button when done, review and re-record if needed. When you are satisfied with the recording, click 'Save Media'. - Click the blue 'Submit Assignment button.
